When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know your plans by May 15th, 2023!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We unfortunately do not have a room block but recommend many hotels on the Travel page

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is all that is requested but if you would like to give, check out our registry in the menu bar above.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, Semi-formal! Check out the suggestions on the schedule page.

Question

I HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY, CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST?

Answer

Yes, please let us know on the RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions so that we can be sure to accommodate.

Question

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE HOTELS TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Our venue is about 1 mile away from Friday Harbor town center and there will be shuttles from Earthbox Inn and Discovery Inn to Saltwater farm at 4:30 the day of the wedding.

Question

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO BOOK A HOTEL ON THE ISLAND?

Answer

It is possible to stay on the mainland and take ferries to and from the island on the day of the wedding, but this would need careful planning of ferry timing and reservations (and may require leaving the reception early).

Question

What precautions are you taking for COVID?

Answer

We will assess the state of COVID closer to our wedding date and let all guests know our plan. Weather allowing, though, ceremony and reception will be outdoors.

Question

Can I bring a date or my kid(s)?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, please only arrive with those who are included on the RSVP card.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, but it is EXTREMELY limited. We'll have transportation available from town to lighten to pressure on the very small, wooded parking lot.

Question

Is camping allowed?

Answer

Yes! There are camp sites and showers on-site. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to camp on site.
