Our love story began in August 2019. We attend the same church and had caught glances of each other during a Sunday Service. Soon after Lindsay had requested Doug be her friend on Facebook and after many hours of chatting, phone numbers were exchanged. A few days later Doug asked Lindsay to go on a date. Our first date was at the Simonton Lake Drive In followed by ice cream at Vanilla Bean Creamery.

Sunday morning was spent at church followed by a stop at the County Fair food drive through where we chose our favorite things to eat with a stop at Fiddlers Pond to have a picnic. Later in the day Lindsay had mentioned a walk around her families pond and Doug happily agreed. All the while knowing this was the place he would soon propose to her! After a few slow strolls around the pond Lindsay and Doug sat on the patio reminiscing over the last year spent together and that is when Doug got down on one knee and popped the question! Knowing how special the pond is to Lindsay made the proposal even more perfect!
