*How We Met* In October 2012 Kelsey, Devin's older sister and Lindsay's friend, invited Lindsay to a house party. Lindsay walked in and immediately was drawn to Devin's spunky energy and boisterous confidence. Kelsey warned Lindsay to stay away from Devin as he is her "pain in the butt little brother." Neither Lindsay nor Devin heeded that advice. After a few failed attempts to date, they finally reconnected in May of 2016 and the rest is history! P.S. Kelsey now fully endorses their relationship and will be doing the honors of officiating their wedding. *The Proposal* Devin planned an epic, super secret, trip within a trip to propose to Lindsay. In March of 2018 Devin and Lindsay flew out to Los Angeles, CA to visit Blair (Devin's brother) and Amy (Blair's wife) who were in on the surprise. After a couple fun-filled days in California, Devin informed Lindsay at dinner that the next morning they were going to the airport to go.. somewhere. Lindsay figured it was either New York to visit Aunt Diane and Uncle Len, or fly to San Diego to go to the San Diego Zoo. Nope, neither were true. They flew to Kauai, Hawaii where Devin pulled off a beautiful, intimate, beach proposal on March 19th. Surprise of a lifetime!
