Flight

Key West International Airport

The best way to reach our little island paradise is by flying into Key West International Airport (EYW). It’s small, colorful, and conveniently close — just 10 minutes from Old Town Key West and the Hemingway House. Direct flights are available from many major cities, or you can easily connect through hubs like Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, or Charlotte. Pro tip: The descent into Key West is its own kind of magic. Turquoise water, tiny islands, and that first jolt of “oh, this is really happening.” Be sure to look out your window upon landing! Other Options... If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also fly into Miami or Fort Lauderdale and make the scenic drive down the Overseas Highway — 3.5 to 4 hours of ocean views, seafood shacks, and tropical weirdness. (Just bring a playlist and maybe a convertible.)
