Lindsay and Chris met back in May of 2016 when Lindsay was about to start nursing school and swore she "wasn't looking for anyone". It was when she received a message out of the blue from Chris after not speaking with him for a year while finishing school, that she was quickly proven wrong. Conversations turned into dates and dates turned into more dates. They shared a mutual love for new adventures, wineries, golfing, taco tuesdays, hiking, and thinking of names for their future dog. Throughout their relationship, they endured the distance of Lindsay living in Philly for nursing school & Chris overcoming the heavy demands of the Nassau Police Academy- both never hesitating to support each other's dreams. They first lived together in the Upper East Side where they frequented their favorite Thai restaurant and took walks to central park. In the fall of 2020, they moved to Long Beach, which quickly became home as they love biking on the boardwalk, getting Marvel ice cream, and sipping wine outside on their balcony. Lindsay admired Chris for his compassion, strong work ethic, protective nature, and drive to support her "fancy lifestyle." Chris admired Lindsay's spontaneity, ability to always turn his mood around, passion to help others, and her infectious laugh. They love exploring and have traveled to Costa Rica, Mexico, Colorado, Newport, Lake George, Washington D.C., several ski resorts, and many hiking spots together. In fact, one of their best memories was when they mountain biked and hiked through waterfalls in the White Mountains and then ended the day drinking Moscow Mules. Chris proposed to Lindsay on his 28th birthday in the wine cellar at the Allegria Hotel in Long Beach. While bad weather put a twist in his plans last minute, Chris pulled off the most amazing night with the most special proposal followed by dinner with their families. They share big dreams for their future and know that as long as they have each other, they have everything they need.
