We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit for men. Opt for light, breathable fabrics like chiffon, linen, or cotton. Floral prints, pastel hues, and soft, flowy silhouettes are perfect for the garden party vibe we are going for! Think sundresses, maxi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits for women, and light/pastel-colored suits or dress pants with a blazer for men. Please do not show up in jeans and flip-flops. It's Charleston in May, so have fun with it!!
We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Given the limited venue space, we had to make tough decisions regarding plus-ones. If you have received a plus-one, it will be included in your invitation and on your RSVP page. Thank you for understanding!
May weather is generally warm and pleasant. You can expect daytime temps to range from the mid-70s to mid-80s, while nighttime lows are usually in the mid-60s. It'll probably be pretty humid, so prepare for that. Overall, May is one of the best months down south so come to enjoy it!
The ceremony and cocktail party will be outdoors. We will move inside for dinner and dancing.
There are plenty of places to stay both on and off the peninsula. Our welcome drinks & wedding ceremony will be held in Downtown Charleston, so we suggest booking a place downtown. If you would like to stay closer to the beach, you could look into staying on Folly Beach, Sullivans Island, or Isle of Palms. All beaches are about 20 minutes from downtown Charleston. We have listed a few hotels under the "Travel & Lodging" section of our website. There are plenty of other options located all around Charleston. Airbnb, Stay Duvet, and YourPad are other alternatives to lodging if you are looking to book a house. If you have any questions, please let us know.
We love your little ones! However, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a fun night out with us! 💃🕺
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before the ceremony start time to find your seat and get settled. The ceremony will begin promptly, and we wouldn’t want you to miss a moment!
Absolutely! Your comfort and safety are important to us. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
