Growing up across town, with Lindsay from Liberty and Austin from Platte County, we shared mutual friends and crossed paths more than once. In 2023, we unexpectedly ended up in line at the same Chipotle, with Austin right behind Lindsay. We hadn’t seen each other in years, but exchanged a quick hello before going our separate ways. A month later, we found out we were living in the same apartment complex, only one building apart. Our first date was in the outdoor common area between our buildings. What started as a casual conversation turned into over five hours of talking about life, family, and the future. It felt easy from the beginning, like something neither of us wanted to end. About two years later, Austin got down on one knee in that exact same spot and asked Lindsay to marry him. We’ve learned that love is built on friendship, communication, and choosing each other in the everyday moments. We feel incredibly grateful that our paths crossed again, and even more grateful for what came from it. Now, enough of the sappy stuff... let's have a wedding!
