What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. Think suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail or floor-length dresses, or other elevated evening wear.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We don’t have a traditional registry, as we’re incredibly fortunate to already have everything we need. Your presence truly means the world to us and is the only gift we could ask for. However, if you still feel inclined to give something, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would be warmly appreciated.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While our celebration is planned with adults in mind, we completely understand that childcare isn’t always possible—especially for those traveling from out of town. If bringing your little one(s) is the best option for your family, they are absolutely welcome. Just please let us know when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 2:30 PM to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in before we get started.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Fort Garry Hotel, located at 222 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB. Everything will take place in the Concert Hall on the 7th floor—just turn left when you exit the elevators. There will be signage to help guide you.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

The Fort Garry Hotel offers both valet and self-parking options. Valet parking is available at the front entrance for $30 + tax per night. Self-parking is available in the hotel's underground parkade for approximately $22 + tax per night (hourly rates also available). There are also several public parkades and surface lots within a short walk of the hotel if you prefer off-site parking.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction. Can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions as early as possible. We will share your requests with the culinary team to ensure they are thoughtfully accommodated.

Are we allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you switch off your cellphones and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can fully soak in this special moment with us. Feel free to take as many photos as you like throughout the rest of the day—during cocktail hour, reception, and dancing! Just a small request: please avoid approaching us for photos while we’re seated at the sweetheart table during dinner, so we can enjoy the meal and time together.

Is it a cash or open bar?

Answer

It is an open bar. Wine will be served with dinner and any other drinks you'd like will be available at the bar!
