Portland
Portland has lots of great food and craft beer! Some of our favorite spots are Deschutes Brewery, Breakside Brewing and Wayfinder Beer, but you'll be able to find a brewery on pretty much every corner. Portland is also known for its donuts and icecream... the line at Salt and Straw is worth it! Try a local food truck, you can find pods all around the city! Aside from eating and drinking there is lots of other fun things to do, we recommend visiting Powell's books, riding scooters on the waterfront, visiting the Japanese gardens, and the Portland farmers market. Willamette Valley Wine Country
There are more than 500 wineries in the Willamette Valley, and McMinnville is in the heart of it. Oregon is known for its Pinot Noir. Aside from Maysara, some of our other nearby favorites include: Stoller Family Estate (Kid friendly), Coeur De Terre, Penner Ash, Willakenzie estates, and Saffron fields, but really you cannot go wrong.
Oregon Coast
The Oregon Coast is nearby, with Lincoln city being about an hour away. Our favorite coastal town is Cannon Beach ( 1 hour and 45 minutes) famous for Haystack Rock. Other nearby coastal cities to visit are Newport and Depoe bay.
