As all great modern romances begin, theirs started with the internet. Trey had recently relocated to the north shore from Austin, TX, and Lindsay was busy raising a puppy and becoming a Beverly townie. Their shared interest in the lesser-known comedy 'Hamlet 2' inspired days of messaging back and forth, until one hot summer night they met for a drink on the back patio of Lindsay's favorite local pub. One drink became two (...or possibly three, and some poutine. And then one more drink) and that was that. They took it slow....just kidding they did not. Lindsay had met Trey's entire family by date three, and Trey moved in with Lindsay and her sister Lauren (along with two angry cats and one 4 month old puppy) shortly after. Think "Three's Company", with more animals. The fact that everyone came out of this living arrangement unscathed is a testament to this couples' (and Lauren's) patience and love for one another. Cut to present day: Trey and Lindsay are settling into their new home, preparing for their annual vacation to the sleepy fishing village of Puerto Morelos, and still making each other laugh as hard as they did that fateful July night back in 2016. On the first night of their Mexico getaway, they stopped for dinner at their favorite little restaurant. Kicking off their shoes, feet in the sand, sitting on plastic patio furniture, Trey asked (or rather - stated) "I want to marry you. Do you want to marry me?" I think you all know the answer.
