New to OKC in 2006, Clay found himself a job barbacking at a small dive bar down the street from his sister Debbie's house while pursuing a career in aviation. Not too long after, Lindsay finished up her college softball career and was about to begin graduate school at UCO. Following the path of many of her UCO softball teammates, Lindsay tried her hand at bartending at Classic's. Clay was mesmerized by Lindsay's shot-making skills (haha, she sucked) and his secret crush on her instantly ensued.

Fast forward 10 years later and Clay found himself with the opportunity to ask out his secret crush. Lindsay said 'yes' and four years later she said yes again when he proposed on her birthday.
