We're getting married!

A mutual friend excitedly introduced Lindsey and Lisa ten years ago with this pitch, "She likes food, you like food, you two would totally get along!" They were not ones to like blind dates, but they eventually agreed to meet at a get-together with friends. Lindsey was too shy to talk to Lisa, but Lisa did the smart thing: she got to know Lindsey's best friend, knowing that she would consult with her bestie after the event. Of course, they gave Lisa two thumbs up! Their first date began walking around Vasona Lake, which turned into a hot pot dinner, which turned into boba for dessert. At dinner, Lindsey wasted no time and went straight to asking hard-hitting questions, which made Lisa so nervous that she made a wearable ring out of the straw wrapper she was fidgeting with. Typical Lindsey, always being efficient, and typical Lisa, always being tactile. The ring should have been a sign! Lisa and Lindsey enjoyed endless meals together, which resulted in both of them gaining 15 lbs! Their conversations were equally fulfilling. Shortly after they met, Lindsey traveled internationally. Lisa was so committed to staying in touch with Lindsey that she even contacted IT support in a panic to help troubleshoot her Viber when it stopped working. Besides always craving the same foods (our friend was right), what really clicked were their values and complementary personalities. They are both profoundly empathetic individuals who value growth and doing the right thing when it's hard. Lisa is calm, cool, and practical with a broody demeanor, which complements Lindsey's excitable, unconventional, and sensitive demeanor—very Gemini and Aquarius of them. There is never a dull day at home with Lindsey's random rapping outbursts and Lisa's playful antics; sometimes, it seems like four people live in a household of two (plus their beloved furbabies, Stormy and Watson). Alas, many bobas and foodie adventures later, the lovebirds are tying the knot and are ecstatic to invite you to celebrate with them!
