When do I need to RSVP by?

Please submit your RSVP by Sunday, 26 October 2025. Please click on the RSVP Card/Link that was sent to you and complete your details.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We're excited to celebrate our special day with all of our loved ones! To ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities, we kindly request that our ceremony be an adults-only affair (the only exception are the little ones in our immediate family). We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to share this joyous occasion with you!

Can I bring a Guest/Date/Plus One?

Answer

Unfortunately not, but if you received a Plus one invite, your guest has already been included in our guest list and your invitation message. You can RSVP for both you and your noted plus one via the link. Otherwise, we'd like to keep our ceremony intimate and considerate of the limited space, with our close family and friend's being fully accommodated and catered for. We humbly request that you do not extend the invite to additional guests or plus ones, we'd like to celebrate our big day with our known friends and family, and we're so excited! Thank you for your understanding and support!

What time should I arrive?

uMemulo ceremony will begin punctually at 08:00 am with uMembeso and reception to follow. You don't want to miss out on anything so save your full day for a celebration of love, good food, drinks and ofcourse Vibes!

Are there any travel arrangements?

Answer

Newcastle is a small town and unfortunately, there are no Ubers or Bolt. You are welcome to contact the bride and groom prior for any arrangements, we are happy to help. The drive from Pretoria/Jhb is between 3h30 mins - 4 hours, so we'd recommend an early drive and departure just after the reception. Should you wish to stay and enjoy the festivities further, we'd recommend that you check our accommodation suggestions in town ( please see the Travel tab).

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it, please let us know as soon as possible or ensure your RSVP reflects that you are not attending so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
