We designed our wedding to feel less like an event and more like a relaxed and elevated dinner party with all of the people that we love most. Our hope is that we can share a great meal, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and spend quality time with everyone who made the trip for us. After dinner, we'll wind down the night with some music and plenty of time to relax and enjoy. We are so excited to be surrounded by all of our most important people!
We’re hosting an outdoor ceremony and reception in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. Think elegant garden party attire, flowy midi or floor-length dresses in your prettiest colors, as well as lightweight suits and sportscoats. More info on dress code can be found on the "Attire Details" tab. Please note that the ceremony space and much of the venue grounds are grassy, and you should plan accordingly with footwear.
Yes, there is a large parking lot on site at the venue. There will be shuttles available for anyone needing assistance coming up the hill from the bottom of the parking lot to the ceremony space.
We will be serving a family style dinner with gourmet wood-oven pizza. We will also be serving cake and smores by the fire.
Expect warm weather, although we are of course hoping for a more mild summer evening as we transition into fall. Traditionally, temperatures in Marshall at this time of year range from 60-80 degrees. There is a small chance of rain at any point at this time of year in Marshall. We will have umbrellas available for guests in case of rain, but please monitor the radar ahead of time. Please note that the ceremony will take place rain or shine, but in the event of rain, dinner will be moved under the tent.
There will be gluten free options available, so be sure to let us know ahead of time if you have any food allergies or restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate other food restrictions but cannot promise no cross-contamination.
We will have a few options for beer and wine to be served with dinner, but there will not be any bartending service or cocktails available.
The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. You are welcome to arrive as early as 5pm for seating and enjoyment of the scenary.
