Hello All - We were married in a small, private ceremony on December 11! We were fortunate that our parents and some of our siblings were in attendance and that we were able to host the wedding virtually. If you are interested in accessing the recording, it can be found here: https://vimeo.com/490045710/8623f71f7a We have decided not to host our wedding celebration. The pandemic, some family matters, and new opportunities make it difficult to coordinate and host the party we had envisioned. We do not intend to host any large gathering in the future, but instead we look forward to seeing you all again and celebrating our friendships in a special way. We have been so moved by all the love, support, and patience you all have shown us during our engagement, wedding planning, and now marriage. We feel so blessed and lucky to have you in our lives.
On a hot day in August, Emma and Mike met at orientation for their Augustinian Volunteer program. In a reception hall in Philadelphia, she learned he was a Mets fan and he discovered she loved the Oakland A's.
On their trip to Ireland, Mike proposed high above the Cliffs of Moher. Mike asked Emma "how about forever?" and she said "yes."
