Our story began as high school sweethearts back in 2008. We were attending Casa Roble High School in Orangevale, California. Trent would watch my soccer games and I would watch him skateboard. We spent our time hanging out at the mall, attending school dances, bowling with friends, playing Dance Dance Revolution, and watching movies in the theater. We've been friends for almost 16 years.

Trent and I were visiting his parents in Hilo, Hawaii. On Valentine's Day when it was dark, we walked down the rode with our flashlights and looked up at the stars. Trent was telling me the most beautiful things about family, life and love. He asked me to shine the flashlight on him and was down on one knee. I said yes!! Moments later there was an earthquake which we believe is a sign of change. The positive and challenging changes life may bring in our lives but now we get to go through it together!!
