Maid of Honor
Zoe is Linda’s youngest granddaughter at 11 yrs. old, and is in 6 th grade. Zoe is a treasured part of every week for Linda, living just 3 blocks away and is learning to play the piano from her grandma. At the rate she is learning, she will be able to trade places and teach Linda very soon! Zoe enjoys baking delicious cookies and cakes. She is always ready to help her grandma, and will offer to vacuum and clean or cook. They enjoy playing cards, doing crafts, and watching movies together. Daniel (Linda’s son) & Jessie are her proud parents.
Noah Van Bogelen
Best Man
Noah may be one of the younger best men you’ve ever met, but I bet he’s one of the spunkiest! Noah is 10 years old and Linda’s youngest grandson, and brother to Zoe. He also is a terrific help to his grandma, but there might be trick or tease included with anything he does. And he’s smart! He especially enjoys picking on his soon to be grandpa Ronnie! Noah enjoys sports, especially basketball, and is a quite talented artist and craftsman. He loves cars, trading cards and teasing.
Kenna Van Bogelen
Flower Girl
Kenna is our talented petal pusher. She is almost 5, and Linda’s oldest great-granddaughter. She is well on her way to becoming a professional flower girl as this is her 4th performance! Her daddy is Jacob, Linda’s first grandchild. Kenna is a wonderful mommy’s (Mariah) helper, aiding in the care of her 2 younger siblings. She too carries the intelligent gene, and loves animals of all shapes and sizes. She has a remarkable vocabulary, and we challenge you to try to stump her!
Christopher Van Bogelen
Man of Honor
The oldest son of Linda, Chris has taken his role of covering and protecting his mom. Chris lives in Santa Barbara with his lovely wife Karina and is a partner in a construction company. He has been Godsend especially during the last several years. One of Linda’s favorite times of the week is the phone call he makes while doing his bike ride. They catch up on each other and helps Linda use the left side of her brain, since the right side took over many decade earlier. He will be giving Linda away.
Micah Van Bogelen
Man of Honor
Micah is Linda’s middle son, and is also giving her away. Micah is married to his high school sweetheart, Julie, and he perhaps takes the prize of one of the busiest men you would meet. He and Julie have 3 grandchildren, from Jacob and Mariah, and would tell you God created him to be a grandpa. They also own and operate the Red Bee coffee shop near the beach, which Julie oversees and is also a baker extraordinaire, and Micah also is HR manager at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power plant. And their other son Andy will be getting married two weeks after Ron and Linda’s wedding. Micah has trained his son’s in many important life skills, especially in the fine art of teasing as well.
