After months of fruitlessly swiping left on Tinder, Hiro landed on an image that stopped him dead in his tracks: a stunning vision named Linda. A picture of her in a blue dress and beautiful smile shook him to his core. He needed to meet her and immediately wanted to swipe right, but he hesitated: how could a woman who looked as incredible as this ever be into him? Hiro threw caution to the wind and swiped right; how could he not? The reward was worth the risk: Linda swiped right back! Hiro was walking on air knowing he had a date with Linda. He picked out his outfit six days in advance. He knew what he would say when he picked her up. He knew if he was going to go for the polite hug, or the forthright handshake. And then Hiro had to cancel the date on short notice because of work. He called and was very apologetic. Through some alchemy of good fortune and second chances, Linda decided to roll the dice one more time with Hiro. On their first date, they connected while hiking at the Oak Canyon Nature Center, and then bonded over sushi. Much like the fish they were eating, Hiro was hooked immediately. However, it was an anti-climactic ending for Hiro; receiving a side hug from the passenger seat in a Starbucks parking lot. Maybe it was karma for canceling on her the first time around. Hiro was beating himself up. However another opportunity arose while Linda visited a friend nearby. Sparks flew and their first kiss inside a local lounge, Azul, made lasting memories for all present. From that point on, the relationship quickly blossomed and their love grew. They found a cozy place within three months and moved in together; traveled the likes of Singapore, Japan, Hawaii & Alaska; and most recently adopted their first furry baby, Ke'a.
