The first time we ever ran into each other was at the Student Ministry summer camp at Folly Beach. Linda had come to pick up Caroline, her baby sister, for the family reunion. We were in the middle of student devotions so I helped bring all the luggage down to the car. I was barefoot and happened to step into a stem of sand spurs and had to brace myself on the car to get the stem out of my foot. From that moment on, our paths kept crossing. Linda began coming to Trinity Point, then started serving in Student Ministry. As we spent more and more time talking, more and more feelings began to emerge. We had our first date at Texas Roadhouse and fell for each other even more over the best rolls around. There have been trips to Alabama to visit family, beach vacations, and even a trip to Aruba. Many hot dogs, burrito bowls, slices of pizza, and more cajun pasta than either of us care to admit has been eaten. These things and so much more has caused us to fall deeper in love with one another, all culminating to March 19 when we got engaged. If the past year and a half has taught us anything it's that the Lord has blessed us beyond measure and we both know that He will continue to do so.
