Take a stroll through some of our favorite Boston neighborhoods while site seeing along the brick lined Freedom Trail! We recommend walking through charming North End, Beacon Hill, and Boston Common. Along the Freedom Trail, you'll see Boston landmarks including Paul Revere's house, site of the Boston Massacre, Faneuil Hall, Old North Church, etc. Stop at "The Sevens" in Beacon Hill for a beer + bite!
Although we are Yankees fans through and through, we do love a good Red Sox game at Fenway Park!
Walk through Harvard Yard and stop at the Museum of Natural History where Ben spent 6 years getting his Ph.D. in Human Evolutionary Biology. We recommend the Glass Flowers exhibit!
This is the oldest tavern in MA - we especially love the exposed wood architecture from its construction in 1780. This is the spot to grab some New England Clam Chowder and a refreshing pint!
This is a fan favorite as far as museums go. The former mansion estate of Isabella Stewart Gardner houses a huge art collection and a beautiful botanical courtyard. It is also famous as the site of the biggest art heist in history, which took place in the 90's and included the only seascape Rembrandt ever painted. The paintings have never been recovered, and blank spaces on the walls where the artwork was stolen are still on display today.
Want to walk through a beautiful park and see some trees? Venture down to Jamaica Plain to visit the Arnold Arboretum, the "museum of trees" managed by Harvard. This is the site where Ben proposed to Linda on October 12, 2024!
