Originally a small fishing village, Perkins Cove is now home to local boutique shops, jewelry stores, salt water taffy, art galleries and restaurants serving fresh seafood. With the Atlantic Ocean on one side and a small harbor on the other, there are no shortage of scenic views here! Conveniently located at the end of the Marginal Way walk, be sure to stop here for food, drinks and shopping.
Nubble Lighthouse, officially known as Cape Neddick Lightstation, was put to use in 1879 to protect men and women on the sea from Maine's rocky coast. It is still in use today, and you can visit nearby Sohier Park and gift shop to take in the views, go fishing, or have a picnic.
