National Mall
The long, grassy National Mall is home to iconic monuments including the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. At the eastern end is the domed U.S. Capitol, and the White House is to the north. It's also flanked by Smithsonian museums, and its lawns and pathways are often crowded with school groups, joggers and softball teams. Nearby, the Tidal Basin reservoir is known for its blossoming cherry trees
Sligo Creek Park
A paved biking trail with bridges over a creek runs through this wooded park with many playgrounds.

The National Zoological Park, commonly known as the National Zoo, is one of the oldest zoos in the United States. The zoo is part of the Smithsonian Institution and does not charge admission

Sligo Creek Golf Course
Sligo Creek Golf Course is a challenging 9-hole course. It is the oldest 9 hole course that MCG has to offer. Although the terrain is hilly, many golfers enjoy walking this park-like setting golf course. The par 3’s will challenge the best of golfers.
