It depends on who you ask! Katie says she met Lincoln one night at CCF and tried to talk to him, but he just shrugged her off. Katie thought "well, he doesn't like me at all". Lincoln, however does not remember this moment and only remembers leading worship with Katie at CCF! They soon began to lead together often and would really enjoy singing together. In November of 2020, Lincoln decided that he wanted to go on a date to get to know Katie more. To his surprise, Katie was thinking the same thing. They began going on dates and asked God if it was His will for them to continue dating and pursuing each other. After one month of getting to know each other, they both decided that they wanted to pursue each other more. They dated for two and a half years and were best friends! They didn't know they would be so "compatible". Lincoln decided that he wanted to marry Katie! He bought her an opal engagement ring and proposed to her on June 13, 2023. Katie... said yes!!!
