Think garden party! Suits for the men and cocktail or semi-formal dresses for the women. While the reception pavilion has a concrete floor, guests will need to walk through grass and gravel to access it. So ladies, pick your shoes accordingly!
If your child is invited, their name will be on the invite. The reception is on the edge of a river, so the venue asks that parents keep their children with them at all times. If your child is not invited, but lack of childcare would keep you from the event, please reach out.
May 21, 2026, but you can always RSVP early!
Due to the fact that we will be moving back to Rwanda after the wedding, we won't be able to bring many gifts with us. Therefore, we have a small registry at Target OR you can check out our 'registry' tab to see the cash fund options.
The church has a large onsite parking lot for the ceremony. The reception venue will have a designated parking area. They do not allow drop offs at the entrance of the venue, unless it is for a handicap individual.
A Gusaba is a traditional Rwandan introduction and engagement ceremony where the groom's family formally asks the bride's family for permission to marry their daughter. Note: This celebration is in Rwanda! To watch the recorded Gusaba: https://youtube.com/live/nnh0eaGmzsk?feature=share
This will be a dry wedding where there will be no alcohol served. Please do not bring outside beverages.
