Lincoln and Aleiya first met on the very first day of their freshman year of high school. They dated briefly that year and, as life continued to unfold, maintained a friendship that carried them through the years. After graduation, both Lincoln and Aleiya independently felt called to serve and made the decision to join the Army. They even shared the same recruiter and, without planning it, found themselves sitting at the same table on military signing day — a quiet moment that hinted at the path ahead. During training, they stayed in touch through letters, sharing encouragement, prayers, and pieces of everyday life across the distance. With each letter exchanged, their connection grew deeper. In God’s perfect timing, their friendship blossomed into the love He had perfectly designed for them — one rooted in faith, purpose, and trust. Today, Lincoln and Aleiya are grateful for the journey that led them here and are excited to begin forever together.
