Third Time's the Charm

Two postponements later...it's finally happening! Please join us to celebrate in May 2022!

How We Met

She's always been bad at texting

Julia & Jacob met in March 2013 in the stairway of the dorm that they lived in (Shoutout to Troy Hall). Julia was wearing a new MAC lipstick that day and is still convinced to this day that that was what caught Jacob's attention (although Jacob seems to have no memory of said lipstick). He said hi and they struck up a conversation. While Julia went on to ignore Jacob's texts for the next few weeks, she finally remembered to text him back one day and they've been in love ever since.

The Proposal

I'm not dressed for a hike

Jacob wanted to give Julia the romantic proposal of her dreams, complete with the scenic views and breathtaking ambiance everyone dreams of. When Jacob took her to the Marin Headlands overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco Skyline, Julia was less than impressed with the dusty trail they traversed to get to the scenic viewpoint. With restrained annoyance, she asked "Are we hiking? Because I'm not dressed for a hike." It was only after Jacob got on one knee and pulled out an engagement ring that Julia realized they weren't there for a hike.
