In the fall of 2013, Amanda began her first year at California State University, Fullerton where she met Jason at a party his fraternity was hosting. That chance encounter marked the beginning of a fun and wonderful college experience together. From Greek life formals to late-night food runs, they navigated the ups and downs of young adulthood side by side. After graduating with their bachelor's degrees in 2017, Amanda and Jason set out to build their careers in creative and marketing. In 2020, they took a big step in their relationship and moved in together, sharing a space with roommates (shoutout #BuckinghamPalace). The next year, they moved into their own place in Irvine, CA, where they’ve built a life they love. Beyond their careers, they’ve also found passions that keep life exciting. Jason enjoys rock climbing and playing Dungeons & Dragons, while Amanda loves playing tennis and capturing memories of their adventures. Recently, they've discovered a love for snowboarding, making winter trips a new favorite tradition. In December of 2023, Amanda and Jason crossed visiting Japan off their travel bucket list. What she thought was a trip to celebrate their 10-year anniversary turned into an even more unforgettable moment when Jason surprised her by proposing in the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Forest in Kyoto. Today, the two are enjoying life in Orange County together alongside their two fur babies: Hallow, their 8-year-old cat, and Murphy, their 4-year-old pup. Whether it’s traveling, trying new restaurants, exploring the outdoors, or spending time with family and friends, Amanda and Jason are excited for what the future holds—especially as they prepare to say, “I do!"
