It all began on a warm August morning in 2015. Sixth grade had just started at César E. Chávez Middle School when Carlos Martinez, the new student, stepped into his first-period P.E. class. That’s where he saw her, Limbania Moreno. With a spark of charm and a smile, he introduced himself not by his name but by the nickname "Lowrider".
