Feel free to click through the photos and learn a bit more of our story through the years.
Lily and Spencer first met in high school and while it took a while for them to cozy up, they finally became friends before Spencer headed off to college.
They reconnected over a summer of interning in DC and sparks flew. Right before the academic year started, they finally decided to give a long-distance relationship a shot in between Canada and SoCal.
For the following year of college, they racked up thousands of frequent flyer miles—Spencer finally experiencing the proper city life in Montréal and Lily ecstatic to see the sun in Claremont.
They decided to both live and work in Los Angeles that summer and got to experience the city as a couple. From living in Persian Square to frequenting the beach every weekend, it was a magical time.
At the end of the summer, they drove across the country before heading overseas to live in Copenhagen for a semester, experiencing the most wonderful, prolonged European vacation together.
After college, they started a new chapter in Chicago and loved life in the Windy City. Though most people fled the city during COVID, Lily and Spencer decided to stay and lived together once again.
Chicago brought many new friends into our life over the four years in the city before it was time to embark on the next adventure with a move to their new home in New York City.
Over the past four years in NYC, Lily and Spencer have reconnected with friends new and old, found countless new side quests and hobbies, and made a home together in the Big Apple.
The years flew by as they immersed themself in everything NYC has to offer, bouncing between comedy clubs, Broadway shows, the favorite neighborhood Pho joint, and the best dive bars.
After a mere seven years together, Spencer planned a surprise proposal in one of their favorite places, the Catskills. At the base of Kaaterskill Falls, Spencer popped the big question.
In the year since then, they've added a third member to our little family and adopted a puppy, Hugo, this past summer.
They've now embarked on their biggest adventure yet—planning the wedding of their dreams. They couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with you in one of their favorite places, the Catskills.
And for good measure, enjoy another photo of Mr. Hugo!
