It all goes back to fall of 2017 when a mutual friend introduced us at La Salle University. Sam was a junior, Lily a senior and at the time we didn’t think much of it. We hung out at La Salle’s finest house parties and were just having fun. Sam studied abroad in Italy the next semester and was gone for about 4 months, we stayed in contact everyday. Once Sam got back, we picked up right where we left off. Sam asked Lily out the following month and ever since June 28th, 2018 we never looked back. From our annual family trips to Sea Isle, NJ and Cape Cod, MA there’s no one else we’d rather have by our sides!

Between just moving into our first apartment in Conshohocken, PA and getting ready to celebrate our 4 year anniversary the proposal was a complete surprise! Sam got down on one knee on the beach in Sea Isle, NJ. He had the cutest set up with roses, blankets, candles and champagne. As we approached the set up (Lily having no clue), she looked over at Sam and called it out saying “ooohh someone must be getting proposed too or having a nice date on the beach, how cute!”. Sam ignoring her comments, just started walking toward it. That is when Lily quickly put the pieces together and started asking over and over “Sam, what are you doing?”. She was told to follow and that is when Sam grabbed her hand and got down on one knee asking “Lily, will you marry me?”. He thought of it all and even had a photographer there to capture every moment. After we spent some time just us two, he surprised Lily again with both our families showing up to keep the celebration going. All to finish it off with a decorated house we went back to, (thanks to Kiley and the rest of the family) where we had some of our best friends and family over to drink and party! It truly was the best day of our lives to date, thanks to all the little details, the best fiancé and best family! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
