Is there a dress code?

Answer

Welcome dinner: cocktail attire (suits, blazer and slacks, dresses, skirts, and dressy separates all welcome). Wedding ceremony and reception: autumnal formal attire. We are kindly requesting floor length gowns and dark suits. Barring rain or extreme cold, the ceremony will be held outside. The reception will be in a heated tent so please check the forecast and bring a jacket!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will depart from the Sofitel promptly at 3:30pm, and will make return trips from Glen Foerd to the Sofitel at 10:30pm and 12am. Ubers are also widely available in the city. Glen Foerd has a valet if you choose to drive yourself. For Friday night, The Deacon has no dedicated parking and parking nearby can be difficult. The nearest garage is at 1041 S 15th St, 5 minutes away.

Are the events accessible?

Answer

The Deacon is on the second floor and has no elevator. Glen Foerd is largely on flat ground but the restrooms do require a few steps to access. Please reach out for more information.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please arrive between 4-4:15pm to get settled and find your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm.
