We met as many modern couples do, through an oh-so-elegant dating app called Tinder. Our first date was on October 16, 2014, and it was one of those magical autumn nights in Portland where it wasn't raining, the leaves were fifty shades of fall, and the air was crisp. We started at a bar that was so packed full of people we couldn't hear a word the other was saying! So we went out to dinner instead and had so much fun talking all through the meal that we weren't ready for the date to end. We moved on to another bar and sipped cocktails, talking until way too late for a work night. We parted ways, but before we made it home had already texted to make plans for the next night. We went on five dates that week. Skip forward six months and we were talking about moving in together. Skip forward four years and we bought our first home together! And now, almost five years into the best chapter of our lives, a chapter full of travel, adventure, growth, and so much love, we are tying the knot! YES!
