Passport Information for U.S. Guests

U.S. citizens need a valid passport to enter Canada, but not a visa. Your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay (a minimum of 6 months is recommended).

Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Canada (Recommended option if using public transit) By Car: ~ 1 hour 15 minutes from Martin Estates. Public Transport Option 1: Take the Toronto Airport Express bus from Pearson to Hamilton (about 1 hour 15 minutes). From Hamilton, take a GO Bus to St. Catharines (about 25 minutes). From St. Catharines GO Station, it’s a short Uber to Martin Estates. Public Transport Option 2: Take the Union-Pearson Express (30 minutes, very straightforward) to Union Station. Either Take the GO Train (Lakeshore West Line) to St. Catharines (about 1 hour 30 minutes) OR take the Megabus to St. Catherines. From St. Catharines GO Station, it’s a 15 minute uber to Martin Estates. Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF), U.S.A. (Recommended option if driving from Buffalo) By Car: ~ 1 hour to Martin Estates. Public Transport: Take the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) bus to Buffalo Metro Rail (about 30 minutes). Then, transfer to the GO Bus (Route 47) at the Buffalo Bus Terminal for a direct ride to St. Catharines (about 1 hour). From St. Catharines GO Station, it’s a short Uber to Martin Estates. *Great option if you are looking to see Niagara Falls! John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM), Canada By Car: ~ 45 minutes from Martin Estates. Public Transport: From Hamilton Airport, take a City Bus (Route 20) to Hamilton GO Station. Then transfer to a GO Bus (Route 47) heading to St. Catharines. From St. Catharines GO Station, it’s a 15 minute Uber to Martin Estates.
