In early 2020, Lily got a job at a local coffee shop. Logan happened to be a regular at this coffee shop and of course, was adored by each employee. As the months went by, they shared in casual small talk slowly getting to know each other. All the while growing fonder and fonder of each other. Eventually, they learned one anothers routines. Logan usually dropped by the coffee shop around 5-5:30 every day. This became Lily's favorite part of her work day. This of course meant Lily noticed when Logan didn't come in. Logan had missed a few days and Lily decided she might as well shoot her shot. She sent him a message on instagram checking in, Logan responded very kindly and assured her he would be back, and was just fine along with his usual "keep smilin". During one of their casual conversations Logan threw out an open ended invite to hang out. Lily knew she had to jump on this opportunity and automatically responded with "Well, I'm free tonight after work!" (Luckily Logan is a good sport) After a date to Wingers and a 3 hour conversation in Logan's truck, they were inseparable and haven't missed seeing each other for much more than a few days at a time.
