Our story began like many relationships do—at a high school party in July 2020. I was 16 and Joe was 17 and neither of us knew that night would turn into forever. When Joe transferred to hominy shortly after, we were inseparable and we officially began dating September 13, 2020. Life wasn’t always easy for us, after high school we spent 3 long years doing long distance. We learned to grow together even miles apart. Those years taught us patience, communication, and just how strong our love really was. No matter the distance we always found our way back to each other. In April 2025, during what I thought was just a couples photoshoot, he completely surprised me and proposed! From high school to building a life together, we’re so excited to celebrate our next chapter surrounded by the people we love most.
