Things To Do

We are so excited to share our favorite things to do in the D.C area!!

The Navy Yard

736 Sicard St SE, Washington, DC 20003

This is a nice little walk to do if you have some time. There is also a wading pool with fountains, great for little kids on a hot day! It also happens to be the place where we had our first kiss :)

Visit the National Gallery of Art

Constitution Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20565
, (202) 737-4215

This was our first date of our D.C. trip last June! It is a great way to stay cool and enjoy some beautiful art. There are also other art museums around if that peaks your interest.

Explore the Monuments at the National Mall

Washington, DC
, (202) 426-6841

You can't tour D.C without seeing the monuments. The best ways to get around are to scooter or bike (both of which can be rented!) It is especially fun at night when it is cooler and less crowded.

Tour the Library of Congress

101 Independence Avenue Southeast, Washington, DC 20540
, (202) 707-5000

The Library of Congress is one of the most beautiful buildings in Washington D.C. It is another great daytime activity to cool off and see some beautiful architecture.

Window Shop in Georgetown

Washington, DC 20007

Georgetown is a classic neighborhood to visit when in the area. It is great to walk around, look in the stores, or get a burger from Good Stuff Eatery or a cupcake from Baked and Wired.

For all the days along the way
