FAQs

If you have questions other than the ones listed here, please ask us!
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Text or call us by April 30, 2021. Let us know if you will be joining us, and if so, whether you have any food allergies. If you RSVP 'yes' but change your mind later for any reason (for example, if you don't feel well; you no longer feel comfortable attending), let us know as soon as you can! We won't take it personally AT ALL. In fact, we would very much appreciate your honesty. We would be happy to catch up with you at a later date in the near future!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes. When you RSVP, let us know if any of your children will be attending.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If you did not receive a +1 but would like one, please let us know.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden attire (semi-formal with spring/summer colors) Ladies: dress or blouse with pants / skirt Men: dress shirt and dress pants or khakis suit jacket optional

Question

What are some things I need to know about the venue?

Answer

(1) The entire wedding will be outdoors, so make sure you have an umbrella if it's raining and a jacket in case it's chilly outside. (2) Grass may be soft, so you may want to reconsider those stilettos! (3) If you have seasonal or pollen/tree allergies, it may be a good idea to take some non-drowsy antihistamines like Zyrtec.

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

By car: this is the easiest method. Once you arrive at the arboretum, consult this map on where to park and/or get dropped off: https://tinyurl.com/2m6jpdc5 By train: Take the NJ transit (Morris & Essex line) to the Morristown stop. Once you get out of the train station, you'll most likely need to call a Lyft/Uber (it'll be a 6-minute drive). Google Maps says the venue is a 1.5-mile walk from the train station, but it's unclear how pedestrian-friendly the streets are. Once you arrive at the arboretum, consult this map on where to go: https://tinyurl.com/2m6jpdc5

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking. Please refer to this map on where to park: https://tinyurl.com/2m6jpdc5

Question

What COVID-19 precautions will you take?

Answer

We are taking the following precautions to minimize the risk of COVID-19: (1) All events (tea ceremony, ceremony, reception) will be outdoors. (2) The reception tent is large enough for 200+ people, but we plan to have no more than 50. (3) We will provide hand sanitizers. (4) We encourage masks to be worn when social distancing is not possible. (5) Servers and bartenders will be the only people distributing / serving food and drinks. They will wear masks at all times. (6) If you are not fully vaccinated by our wedding date (finishing your last dose at least 14 days before the event), we request that you to get a COVID PCR test 2-3 days prior to the wedding date and encourage you to stay home if possible until the day of the wedding. Question

How many guests will be attending?

Answer

NJ outdoor gathering limits were recently raised to 200 people, but we plan to cap our guest list at 50. We are currently estimating 40-50 guests.

Question

If we cannot attend, how can we celebrate from afar?

Answer

We won't be live streaming the event, but we plan to share photos with you afterward. We encourage you to celebrate with us in spirit by dressing up and having a nice drink and/or meal from the comforts of your own home. Feel free to share a selfie with us or a video message!
