It’s Finally Happening!!! We Are Ready to be the Renner’s!

Ben and Lily’s story begins 10 years ago when they met in the summer of 2011 at Indiana University. Lily was headed into her Sophmore year and Ben his Junior when they met one night at a party at Lily’s place that summer- a 10 girl live out with her DZ sorority sisters. Ben lived nearby in a house with his DTD fraternity brothers and would come over alot to hang with the older DZ girls that Lily lived with. She remembers what he was wearing the first time she met him, green westfield jersey (that he still wears to this day) and khaki shorts, and from there they instantly had a connection. During that summer, they became best friends and did everything together: jump/swim in the quarry, go out to eat, try to sneak Lily into the bars with her numerous fake IDs, watch movies, hit up the pool and attempt to study together. Summers in Bloomington hold a special place in their hearts and they would spend the following two summers in Bloomington together, which would be the foundation of their relationship a few years ahead. It’s the place they became best friends, went on their first date, and shared their first kiss. During the school year and remaining summers until Ben graduated, their friendship only got stronger. They were Social Chairs for their sororities/fraternities, involved in IUDM, lived next door to each other, went on Spring Breaks and a few Indy 500s together. Ben moved up to Chicago after graduation, but they never lost contact while Lily was finishing up her senior year before moving up to Chicago that next summer. Then, the stars finally aligned and Ben finally asked Lily to be his girlfriend after numerous visits to Bloomington and Chicago. Shortly thereafter, while Lily was visiting Ben one weekend, he expressed his love for her & the rest is history! They have now been together for the past 8 years- 7 years spent living in Chicago but recently moved back to Indianapolis, IN where they bought their first house & are enjoying being Hoosiers again!
