Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Ceremony will begin at 3:00pm at the Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church in Greensboro, NC. The reception will take place at 5:00pm at The Millennium Center on 5th Street in Winston Salem, NC.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes early if you are expecting to attend the wedding ceremony at the Greek Orthodox Church. The reception will have a cocktail hour prior to our arrival and you are welcome to join for drinks and light eats.

Is there ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will both be indoors.

Will there be a cocktail or social hour?

Answer

Yes, the cocktail hour will start at 5:00pm at The Millennium Center in Winston Salem, NC.

What is the dress code?

Answer

NO WHITE DRESSES OR OUTFITS FOR LADY GUESTS PLEASE! As this is a traditional wedding, we ask our guests to dress in Formal or Semi-Formal attire. There will be music and dancing during the reception so please be sure to wear something comfortable enough to dance in as well! Please respect the modesty of the church ceremony when choosing your attire.

Will food and drinks be provided?

Answer

Yes, food and drinks will be provided. The drink selection is limited to what the venue carries in house. The food selection will be primarily Greek food.

Yes, there will be an open bar.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Unfortunately the catering will be restricted to the options we have selected. The food options will include Greek style salad which will be an option for non-meat eaters. If you do have strict dietary restrictions, please make arrangements to eat prior to the event as there will be a break between wedding ceremony and reception.

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Yes, there will be dancing and we will have a DJ. Song requests will be restricted and only approved through the wedding party.

Will there be a photobooth?

Answer

No, we will not have a photobooth but we will have one of the greatest photographers of our time capturing moments during the event. Be sure to keep any eye out for him and give him moments to capture!

Is parking available?

Answer

For the wedding ceremony, the Greek Orthodox church has plenty of parking but additional parking will be available across the street if needed. For the reception, there is some off-street parking available around The Millennium Center but we encourage all guests to either Uber/Lyft from their hotels near by (those who have traveled), or park your car in the parking garage across the street from The Millennium Center.

Are hotel rooms blocked for guests?

Answer

No but we have included a Travel tab on the website with the closest hotels to the reception venue.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No, transportation to and from the Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Reception will be fully dependent on the guests attending. Uber is a great ride share service with easy availability in the city.

Are wedding gifts expected?

Answer

No, wedding gifts are not expected but they are certainly welcome!

Is there a honeymoon fund?

Answer

Yes, we have a honeymoon fund on our Registry tab that will allow those who are interested to donate to our honeymoon. Other payments methods are also accepted if preferred.

Is this a child friendly wedding?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome and will be present.

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

Unfortunately no. Due to our contractual agreement with the venue, the guest count cannot be increased any more to accommodate additional guests.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We require all RSVPs to be completed and returned by June 1, 2026. If the RSVP is not returned, we may try to contact you to confirm but if we don't hear back then you won't be included.
