For those of you who don’t know, Lily was born with bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. Doctors didn’t officially diagnose her until just before she turned three years old, and at three years old, she received her very first pair of hearing aids.
Lily has had her current pair of hearing aids for nearly 8 years, and while they’ve served her well, the technology is no longer meeting her needs — especially in her work as a hairstylist, where hearing clearly is so important. Sometime in the upcoming year, Avery and Lily will be purchasing new hearing aids.
Unfortunately, these hearing aids are costing $7,000, and insurance won't cover them or the ongoing costs. It would be greatly appreciated for any amount of help towards this.
