Bus Travel

For our out-of-town guests, we will have bus travel available from downtown KC to the church and back. Parking at the Austin (our reception!) is the lot on the corner of 17th and Locust, right around the corner! Our bus will be leaving the Ambassador Hotel at exactly 1:20PM to head to Good Shepherd Catholic Church. The bus will be available to bring guests back to the Ambassador after the ceremony has concluded (leaving around 3:30PM following the ceremony). This is for any and all guests staying downtown at any of our three hotel locations! This is a great time to have a drink, catch up with friends, and freshen up between 4:00 and 5:00PM when our reception begins at The Austin! We recommend ubering or taking a nice stroll from hotel to The Austin depending on weather. There is no bus from the Ambassador to the Reception. We ask if you are using the bus to be sure to arrive at the Ambassador no later than 1:15PM on Saturday. To get to the Ambassador from the AC Hotel, this is a quick 4 minute walk down the same street. From the Marriott at the Plaza this is a 10 minute Uber ride to the Ambassador, or a 22 minute ride on the (free!) public tram. Given the availability of Uber/Rideshare we strongly encourage you to use the bus. If you have any questions please call or text the Bride!
