FAQs

We can't wait to see you at the Alta Peruvian Lodge on July 3. If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please let us know!
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Whatever you are comfortable in! Keep in mind the ceremony will be on grass when picking out shoes, and it can be much cooler in the evenings at the high elevation. No tux necessary!

Question

Will we be outside or inside?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside on the grass, with cocktail hour to follow on the patio. The reception will follow at the same location, inside.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying anywhere in Little Cottonwood Canyon. There are lots of options at Alta and Snowbird whether you’d like a hotel or condo! Be careful not to book at Brighton or Solitude - they are located in a Big Cottonwood Canyon which looks close on a map but is about a 45 minute drive.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

We wish! Dogs are not allowed in Little Cottonwood Canyon, where the wedding is taking place. That means no dogs on hiking trails, or in cars in the area.

Question

What is the elevation of the Alta Peruvian Lodge?

Answer

The wedding will take place at the base of Alta Ski Area, which is about 8,500 feet. For our California friends, that is much higher than Lake Tahoe (6,200 feet). Be sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated!
