Our Journey Begins

Lauren and Liam were actually coworkers at Target for two years before their relationship began (and by that we mean that Lauren was his BOSS ohhh scandalous). Right around the time Lauren was jetting off for a two week trip to Italy, Liam was leaving Target to start an internship with a civil engineering firm. Once Lauren returned back to the states, Liam whipped up one of the three meals he knew how to cook and invited her over to catch up on all their recent adventures. From that point on, LiLo (so they've dubbed themselves) have been obnoxiously inseparable. Flash forward 4 years, 4 cats, and 1 house later. Liam and Lauren are in Calgary, Canada. This was a pitstop on their way to Lake Louise for a friend's wedding (SHOUT OUT KIMBOZ & IAN). Lauren and Liam spent the day exploring Calgary in a tiny Toyota Corolla that they almost wrecked about 34384937 times (it was Lauren's first time driving in serious snow after all). That night for dinner they had reservations at a restaurant at the top of Calgary Tower. Liam didn't eat much of his food, but Lauren figured his stomach just wasn't handling the fact that the entire restaurant slowly rotates. In actuality it was Liam's nerves getting the best of him for what he was about to do next. After dinner they went up to the observation deck where Liam presented Lauren with a book listing all the reasons why he loved her. And at the very last page was a question, "Lauren, will you be my always & forever?"

Liam and Lauren will be committing themselves to a lifetime of love and adventures together during a private ceremony atop the Remarkables Mountain Range in Queenstown, New Zealand.
