Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a relaxed affair, so feel free to leave the formal wear at home. Since we’re tying the knot in the middle of summer, we're expecting a warm and sunny day (Andi's favorite - yay!) We recommend light, breathable clothing to keep you cool. For the ladies, sundresses or knee-length dresses are just fine! Our seating area includes gravel stairs, so for shoes, choose flats, wedges, or simple sandals that are easy to walk in. For men, lightweight chinos or linen pants paired with a button-down dress shirt or a nice polo shirt are ideal. Most importantly, we’re keeping things super fun and casual! Don't forget the sunscreen; especially with this Colorado elevation and sun! We can't wait to see you there for a day full of fun and celebration!

Question

How do we get to Sunrise Amphitheater?

Answer

There are two ways to get to the top of our ceremony site. 1. Drive to the site. You can drive directly to the Sunrise Amphitheater parking lot. Please keep in mind that it's about 15 minutes of uphill mountain driving. There are a limited amount of parking spots at the top (around 25 spots). Therefore if you choose this option, we recommend arriving at 1:30 at the LATEST to give yourself enough time to find a parking spot and get settled. There is a cost of $5 to park on-site. 2. Hop on our SCHOOL BUS! Yep! Being the 3rd grade and P.E. teacher... we've got a school bus taking our guests to the top of Sunrise Amphitheater (and afterwards to our reception site) if you do not want to drive and park yourself. Simply park at the parking lot of Chautauqua Park (or nearby neighborhood) and take our bus to the ceremony site. The bus will be leaving promptly at 1:30 for our 2:00 ceremony time! Please be advised that parking at Chautauqua Park and neighboring areas can get full quickly, especially on a Sunday in the summer! Therefore, we recommend if you want to take the school bus, to plan on ARRIVING and PARKING by 1:10 so you have time to walk to our super fun bus! Taking an Uber or Lyft to Chautauqua Park to get dropped off would be ideal if you want to utilize the school bus route! The bus will then take you back to your car after the ceremony (or you can stay on for a full ride to our reception site at The Rayback Collective!) **FYI: There are public restrooms at the top of the mountain!**

Question

Where is the reception after the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony site and reception site are separate from each other. After saying "I do" at Sunrise Amphitheater, we're headed to The Rayback Collective to continue the celebration! You can drive and meet us there, or take our school bus all the way to The Rayback (best option in our opinion!) Once at The Rayback, we have a private area that will house all the fun to come! Everyone will receive a ticket to select a dinner of your choice from one of the food trucks on site. An open bar and good music will lead us into the fun of the night!

Question

What Next?

Answer

Because our reception ends on the early side, we invite everyone to come bar-hop Boulder with us! We'll be hitting all the fun bars and would love to have you there if you'd like to continue the celebration!
