We're getting married!

Our story begins junior year of high school when a scheduling system placed both of us in Ms. Thomas's 4th-period English class, which led to the start of something wonderful. Shortly after meeting, we began dating. Two years filled with ice skating, sushi, being #1 fans for lacrosse and gymnastics, managing to find multiple dresses that a tie could not easily be matched with, and so much more. Those two years together became a cherished foundation for our relationship. After high school, life took us in different directions as Lilly headed off to South Carolina (Go Cocks!) and Rob ventured to Iowa State (Roll Clones!). With the distance between us, we decided to part ways. Fast forward to March 2020 – COVID shut down the world, and suddenly we both ended up back home. During this unexpected time, Rob reached out to Lilly with a simple question: would she like to grab some ice cream at DQ? To no surprise, she says yes! What started as a friendly encounter turned into months filled with laughter, late-night talks, and playful flirting. It didn't take long for us to realize our spark was still there and it felt like no time had passed. Before we knew it, we were dating again. As Rob completed his final semester at Iowa State, Lilly made the move to Ames, where we started our family together and welcomed our beautiful Mr. Bentley-boy. After Rob graduated, we relocated to Scottsdale, AZ, and have found love for golf, hiking, paddle boarding, Trevor's, and more. We have enjoyed every moment of the past 2 years in this sunny state. On September 21st, 2024, Rob asked another simple question: "Will you marry me?". Surrounded by the beauty of Lake Pleasant and our families, Lilly happily said yes, marking the beginning of the next chapter in our love story. We’re so excited to celebrate our journey and the beautiful memories we’ve created together as we prepare for our wedding!
