Alex holds the titles of best man AND best friend. I've known Alex since my fourth day of college when we met in a chemistry lab and lived life beside one another in our Freshman Cru Lifegroup. He is who I think of when anyone utters the word "bro". Our friendship often reminds me of David and Jonathan in the book of 2 Samuel.

Whitney is another sisterly, and somewhat motherly, figure in my life. Whitney has grown to be a good friend and a safe person for not only me, but also Drew. Her and her husband have been great friends in Drew and I's relationship.

Jacob Clark. The only person in the world I cannot sit near during a serious event. By nature Jacob and I are both silly people. We love to stir up harmless mischief and make jokes at every chance we get. He has a strong faith in God and a wonderful spirit, and I'm happy to have him with me for this celebration.

Erinn has been there since the beginning of my relationship with Drew, and she was one of the first people to point out that I had feelings for him. Erinn is someone who I greatly admire, and she has been a great contributor to my love for coffee shops.

Jack was one of the leaders of my Freshman Lifegroup. He challenged me to go deeper in my relationship with God and given me the wisdom I've needed to grow. He also pointed me in the direction of my bride-to-be. I look up to Jack in many ways and know him as a wonderful mentor, brother, and friend.

Carol has been the calm in the storm that life can be. She is also a very wise figure in my life, but also someone whose kind words and actions I emulate. Carol has also been someone I've grown close to due to our shared passion for prayer.

Josh was another leader for my Freshman Lifegroup. He was also a big influence on my faith and personal growth throughout college. I was able to grow close to him because of similar seasons we were both going through. He has a wonderful faith and has provided me much wisdom since I've known him. I am happy to know him as brother and friend.

I met Erika through a bible study at the church we both go to, and we became close due to our common interests and personality. Erika is someone who I can laugh with but also be vulnerable with. I love the fun and intellectual conversations we have, and her two dogs are also a great benefit of friendship.

Cole and I began as rivals. Initially, we didn't understand one another, but we eventually moved from butting heads to pushing each other to be better. He has proven to be a trustworthy friend to confide in, as well as wise counsel. A fun and interesting presence to be around (and a force to be reckoned with), I am thankful to have him on my side.
