Where is the ceremony and reception?

The ceremony and reception will be held at Emerson Hall in Nashville TN. 2512 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm CST. Please plan to arrive between 4:30 and 4:50 pm for sufficient organization. The wedding will end at 11:00 pm.

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-Formal. Please no athletic wear, but otherwise wear something you feel good about being photographed!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There will be valet offered at the venue, or you may park at the Walgreens or CVS just down the road.

Will there be dinner served?

Answer

Duh, we Asian. We’ll be tentatively serving a delicious traditional Chinese family-style meal with options for most dietary needs. Let us know when you RSVP if you have any restrictions or allergies and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invite says “and guest,” yes! Otherwise, we’re keeping things cozy and can’t accommodate extra guests—thanks for understanding.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes, but please be mindful as there will be alcohol and loud music for the reception. Please let us know if you require a highchair for the dinner.

Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

Answer

Out of respect for the ceremony, we kindly ask that you refrain from filming or taking photos. Our professional photographer will capture the moment, and we’ll be happy to share those photos with you afterward.

Where should I stay in Nashville?

Answer

We recommend finding an accommodation near East Nashville as there are plenty of interesting shops, restaurants, parks, and amenities in this area. It will be close to the airport and other major tourist attractions such as Broadway. See the "Travel" tab for more info.

What is the traditional tea ceremony?

Answer

The Vietnamese tea ceremony is a meaningful tradition that symbolizes the union of two families. During this event, the bride and groom will serve tea to their close family members and receive their blessings. We will hold the ceremony on Saturday, November 29 at 10:00 AM at Lilly's childhood home in Brentwood, TN. While participation is reserved for immediate family, friends and extended family are welcome to observe. If you'd like to attend, please reach out to Lilly or JP directly to let us know.

Bucket is 5 years old. Chico is 2 years old.
