Getting Around

The Wedding Website of Lilly Gu and Iliana Yanes

Sea-Tac Airport

Airport

The closest airport to our venue is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). From there, we highly recommend taking the Light Rail (see more in that section!). SeaTac offers TSA Pre-Check and Clear expedited security at gates. You can find TSA PreCheck at Checkpoints 1 and 4 in the main terminal. You can find Clear at Checkpoints 1 and 5 in the main terminal. For passengers departing via general security, check out the "skip the line" option available daily from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Checkpoints 2 and 4: https://www.portseattle.org/SEAspotsaver

Seattle Link

Light Rail & Train

Seattle has easy, safe, and low-cost public transit via light trail and train! First, from the airport: The light rail has a station inside of the airport parking garage, and the airport has signs in the terminal all the way to the station guiding you there. Link light rail trains depart every 8-10 minutes for most of the day. From baggage claim, follow the signs for the Link light rail. It takes 38 minutes between the airport and the heart of downtown Seattle, where our venue and recommended hotels are. For anywhere else-- use this trip planner to find the best way to get from Point A to Point B: https://www.soundtransit.org/tripplanner

Seattle Streetcars

Street Car

Looking to get from downtown to South Lake Union, Capitol Hill, or the International District! You're in luck! Street cars run in two lines to and from downtown. South Lake Union: The line connects the South Lake Union neighborhood to Seattle’s vibrant downtown core, consisting of 1.3 miles, nine stops, and full of shops and restaurants as well as Lake Union’s 12-acre waterfront park. First Hill: This line consists of 10 stops and stretches 2.5 miles, connecting to Link light rail at the Capitol Hill and International District stations, the Sounder Commuter Rail and Amtrak intercity rail at the King Street Station, and Metro Transit buses at several points.

Seattle Center Monorail

Monorail

But what about a public transit option that takes you directly to the venue door? Take this one mile people mover which travels directly between Westlake Center Mall (5th Avenue and Pine Street) and Seattle Center (adjacent to the Space Needle and MoPOP). It runs every 4-10 minutes. There is only one stop so you won’t get lost! En route you'll see sights like the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, Memorial Stadium, Museum of Pop Culture, and Amazon Spheres.
