Our story began long before either of us knew what love was, in the second grade at Tinora Elementary School. We were just two kids learning cursive and how to spell "Mississippi" forwards AND backwards. We became truly close friends during our time at Tinora Junior High School. Our growing interests in academics and band set us up to have the majority of classes together for our remaining time at Tinora. That proximity only allowed us to spend more time together. By our junior year of high school, our friendship had quietly deepened. From marching band performances to chemistry to graduation, we grew up side-by-side. Once college had rolled around, we found ourselves pursuing our chosen fields in different cities. We got through the four years of long distance with countless video calls, weekend trips to see each other, virtual dates, and ending each day watching a show together. We were able to grow individually, but we always found comfort in each other. After years of growing together, we’ve spent the past year building a home of our own. We adopted two mischievous cats, Cynder and Kaptain Krunch, who keep life interesting. We’re so grateful for how far we’ve come and can’t wait to see where the future takes us. We can’t wait to start our forever surrounded by the people who’ve watched our story unfold from the very beginning.
