Lilly & Christopher met each other at Lilly's home in Stockbridge, GA in August 2007, where she was having a gathering of friends. They met through a mutual friend, Ho Ha, who worked with Chris and brought him to party with a small group of friends. As time passed they had their first "hang-out" that turned into their unintentional first date on November 30, 2007. After a few more dates & late night phone calls they decided to make their relationship official December 12, 2007. They've come a long way always encouraging & supporting each other to be the best person they can be. After 12 years, they are FINALLY engaged to get married. After Christopher graduated from optometry school in May, he decided he wanted to travel that summer. Lilly & Chris decided to do their travels together starting in London, England to Paris, France to Budapest, Hungary. He set forth his adventure on May 24th to London scoping out places to propose. They connected together on June 3rd with friends John, Betty, Michael, and Ali. They made plans for next day involving places to visit on the London Pass. Little did she know she was planning the route to her engagement! June 4th, in front of the Westminster Abbey - despite a couple of set backs (rain, the musician canceling because of the RAIN), that didn't stop Chris from shouting at the top of his lungs that he loves his woman as he turned her around to Mike, Ali, Betty, and John wearing the shirts "Lilly, will you marry me???" and getting down on one knee. She could barely respond verbally as emotions flooded, she nodded and sobbed "yes!"
